As a multifaceted entertainment professional, I have a passion for every aspect of the creative process. My experience ranges from writing and producing to directing and editing. In 2017, I wrote, produced, directed, shot and edited a ten-minute short titled 7 Buttons, which was well-received at Innovate UNO and won an award. Stories From the Streets of New Orleans

My love for music and filmmaking led me to produce, shoot, and edit this short documentary about the vibrant street music scene in New Orleans. My aim was to capture the pure essence of the local musicians and their culture. It was both a challenging and rewarding process, working with the Young Fella's Brass Band, Willow Family Band, and David & Roselyn. The experience was truly unforgettable, and I hope the viewers of this documentary can feel the same heartfelt passion that these musicians put into their live performances.

A Song a Week for a Year

As an entertainment professional, I thrive on creating original, dynamic content that engages and inspires people. For my solo project, I produced, recorded, and released a song a week for a year. Each track blended my unique spoken word with original trip hop beats, paving the way for a completely new and exciting sound. This project challenged me in numerous ways, but also allowed me to push my creativity and technical skills to new heights.

Through my experiences as a street musician and artist, I have explored the depths of humanity and come back with a fresh perspective on life. My book is a way for me to share these experiences with you and inspire you to live authentically and passionately.

Meenakshi's Love

I completed a poetic project titled Meenakshi’s Love, a literary tribute capturing the profound love and divine journey of Goddess Meenakshi and Lord Shiva, set against the mystical landscape of Madurai.

In this work, I explored their relationship through poetic verses that bring to life Meenakshi’s bravery, her symbolic strength, and the unity she embodies with Shiva. Each line celebrates her moonlit, life-giving gaze and her mission to dispel darkness with her radiant sword, portraying an inspiring saga of courage and eternal devotion.

My approach was to channel the ambiance of Madurai’s temple halls and weave Meenakshi’s epic tale with Shiva into a tapestry of hope, resilience, and celestial unity. This project is not just a story but a timeless symphony of divine connection, honoring my beloved Meenakshi Dutta and reflecting themes of love that transcend the earthly, echoing through both human and cosmic realms.

The album showcases a dynamic range of sounds, from raw hip-hop beats to soulful trip-hop, weaving together personal stories and universal themes of survival, hope, and self-expression. With each track, StormBorn delivers an immersive listening experience that speaks to his journey as a musician and artist, influenced by the vibrant rhythms of his hometown and a deep connection to his roots. Unhinged

Unhinged is a psychological thriller crafted as part of my Senior Film Project at the University of New Orleans. This short film dives deep into the mind's darkest corners, unraveling the raw emotions of fear, paranoia, and obsession. Set against a tense, atmospheric backdrop, Unhinged follows a young student as he confronts his deepest insecurities and face the unraveling of reality itself. Through evocative cinematography and a haunting score, the film explores the fragility of sanity and the chilling effects our minds can have on our realities. This project captures both the technical skills and the narrative depth developed throughout my film education, showcasing a story that is both visually striking and psychologically intense.
